Terms of use

Plain-language terms. Everything below follows what the official government pages say — we link them so you can check.

What this site is

Newcomer Copilot is a free information tool. It explains selected official Canadian immigration pages in plain language and links to them. It offers calculators, guides, checklists and an AI assistant that answers from those official pages.

Not immigration advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice or personal immigration advice. We are not an immigration consultant or a law firm. Under Canada’s immigration rules, only an authorized representative can give you advice about your own case. For decisions about your application, use one — or read the official page yourself and confirm every detail there.

Estimates, not decisions

Our calculators follow the official scoring grids:

A score is an estimate from those grids. It is not a decision about your case, and it cannot promise an invitation, a nomination or a visa. Draw results are copied from IRCC’s official rounds page; we never predict future draws.

AI answers can be wrong

The assistant answers from official pages in our library, but it can misread them or go out of date. Always check the linked source before acting. If an answer matters for your case, confirm it on the government page or with an authorized representative.

Your responsibilities

Email

If you give us your email (for a score report, draw alerts or reminders), we store it with the signup time and reason, and we only email you about Newcomer Copilot. Every email carries an unsubscribe link. We never sell your information. See what this site stores.

Changes

Government rules change, and so does this site. We may update or remove any page or tool at any time. If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll note the date at the top of this page.
